Frequently Asked Questions |
|
Q: How much does floral preservation cost? A: Your flowers can be preserved on almost any budget. The encasement you choose determines the price, starting at only $40.00.
Q: What is the process for preserving my flowers? A: Your flowers will be preserved using our proprietary Suspended in Time Blend®, which rapidly extracts moisture from the flowers, sealing their color and shape. After drying, they will be placed and sealed in the airtight encasement of your choice.
Q: How long does floral preservation take? A: We can have your bouquet dried in 4 to 5 days. Depending on the encasement you have chosen and other variables, such as other customer commitments, we can have your encasement finished in 2-6 weeks in most cases. Suspended in Time® reserves the right to extend this time frame as needed. Orders may be rushed, but extra fees will apply.
Q: How soon do I need to get my flowers to you? A: As soon as possible after the event, the fresher your flowers, the better they will preserve. We offer a pick–up service in Lafayette, Panola, Yalobusha ,and Grenada counties ,for a minimal fee.
Q: Do I need to tell my florist that I am preserving my flowers? A: Yes, some florists use spray glues on your flowers, which make it difficult to preserve.
Q: Can all flowers be preserved? A: Daisies and chrysanthemums do not dry well. Most traditional wedding flowers preserve well.
Q: Is my bouquet or flower arrangement dismantled? A: Yes, in order to completely dry your flowers it is necessary to dry them separately. If there is any moisture left in your arrangement after we seal the encasement, they could mold, spoiling your flowers.
